This is an incredibly exciting time to join us as a Sales Administrator as we continue to deliver against our Sector Leading ‘Homes and Place' strategy transforming how we operate and organise ourselves, delivering safe service and affordable housing to our customers.

 

Job Purpose: To provide a variety of administrative functions to support the SNG Asset Sales Team, whilst ensuring the highest standard of confidentiality and delivering excellent customer care. A highly organised individual, with exceptional attention to detail who can multitask and is able to manage their time / prioritise effectively, whilst understanding the business needs.

Key Accountabilities:

  • To provide administrative support for Asset Sales.
  • Manage the sign and sealing process to support the SNG Sales Team transaction, work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure documents are booked, recorded, and completed in a timely manner.
  • Prepare property information packs for asset sales
  • Produce memorandum of sales and disseminate accordingly.
  • Provide a daily service to process creditor payments, ensure SNG coding, purchase order and filing procedures and standing orders are followed. Work collaboratively with the finance team to produce monthly budget reports, identify anomalies and report as required.
  • Accessing the Bankline system to provide daily updates on payments to the teams.
  • Provide daily support to the Asset Sales Team in terms of managing their inbox, general enquiries and issuing Memorandum of Completions.
  • Manage the VOIDs process for the Asset Sales Team. Collect information on stock checks and accurately update the insurance document monthly.
  • Provide administration to deliver the post completion process – closing utility accounts with providers, providing final meter readings, and performing file audit checks.
  • To complete the inputting of CORE data, to collaborate with the performance team to ensure data is accurate and report in a timely manner.
  • Provide support and organisation administration to the Sales Team in the planning of sales events.
  • Assist the sales and marketing team in the organization of events as required.
  • Manage stock of business wear and ensure the Sales Team have a good quality supply, liaise with suppliers for future orders as required.
  • Provide assistance in the setup of new contractors with the procurement team. Where required, source new contractors by region to support with the delivery of essential functions such as landscaping, cleaning etc.
  • Organise and distribute the post on office days.
  • Understand the various products that we offer our customers and keep knowledge up to date.
  • Provide a high quality first point of contact to visitors both internally and externally.
  • Applying knowledge and skills to complete a variety of day-to-day activities seeking guidance on issues outside of own personal area.
  • Prioritise, organise and coordinate electronic diaries for meeting attendance. Occasionally attending meetings to represent and support the team. Taking minutes and organising refreshments as required.
  • Contribute to projects by working collaboratively with others, as required for the efficient operation of the department and achievement of team objectives.
  • Identify and implement new procedures as directed whilst actively participating in review of the department and personal working practices to suggest solutions and improvements as necessary.
  • Maintain confidentiality at all times in relation to business sensitive and personal information acquired through work.
  • Provide assistance to other departments when occasionally called upon by responding positively to requests of help.
  • Establish, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with all work colleagues, contractors and partnering agencies to ensure an integrated contribution to SNG's corporate objectives.
  • Observe and comply with policies and procedures for Health and Safety at Work and observe and continually promote equal opportunities and customer care in compliance with organisational aims and objectives.
  • Participate in learning and development activities that develop personal effectiveness and assist in improving performance in the role.
  • Undertake any other duties as may reasonably be required in line with the level of responsibility of the post and in order to meet the changing needs of the organisation.

Please note - This is a part-time role of 22.5 hours per week, full time equivalent salary will be pro rata to these hours and based on a fixed term contract ending June 2025.
