We have a fantastic opportunity to join our Corporate Strategy and People team at Sovereign Network Group as a Change and Culture Consultant, on a fixed term contract basis for up to 12 months

Based from either Basingstoke or Wembley, you'll combine home and office working to ensure a positive work / life balance. There will be some regular travel to our office in Basingstoke, for meetings or workshops.

What you'll be doing

Reporting into the Organisational Effectiveness Manager, your focus will be to develop and implement change management best practice and drive cultural initiatives within SNG. You'll be enhancing employee engagement, and ensuring successful adoption and sustainment of change. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring that change management strategies align with SNG's corporate plan, organisational goals and priorities
  • Conducting assessments to evaluate the organisation's readiness for change
  • Working with key stakeholders across SNG to identify and understand the impact of change on our people, and identifying the steps required to mitigate or control any negative impacts
  • Designing and facilitating workshops, training sessions, and communication plans to build change management capability and support and embed SNG's approach to change
  • Evaluating the ongoing impact and success of change initiatives through the development of metrics and KPIs
  • Maintaining, enhancing and continually improving SNG's Centre of Excellence (CofE) for change (including framework, methodologies and strategies) to guide and support organisational change, transformative projects and programmes
  • Working in partnership with the Organisational Development Consultants and Strategic HRBPs, to develop and implement cultural change initiatives that support business goals, the employee value proposition (EVP) and enhance employee engagement

What we need from you

You should have previous experience in a similar role, with in-depth understanding of change management principles, methodologies and best practices. You'll also need:

  • Expertise in developing and implementing change management strategies and programmes, including an ability to determine the effectiveness of their impact
  • In-depth knowledge of change management principles, methodologies and best practice and the ability to convey these concepts to stakeholders
  • Knowledge of cultural development and employee engagement strategies
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, able to bring people together and ‘on the journey'
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and trends
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, demonstrating credibility and building trusted relationships with the ability to effectively influence or challenge where required
