We have a fantastic opportunity to join Sovereign Network Group (SNG) in this new role as Organisational Resilience Manager, on a fixed term basis for 12 months. As we continue to shape the future of SNG following the merger of Sovereign and Network Homes, this role is integral to establishing a resilient environment that aligns with SNG's strategic objectives and operational needs.
Based from our office in Basingstoke, you'll share your time between the office and home to ensure a positive work / life balance. There may be some travel required with this role across our geography, so you should have access to transport and be happy to travel.
The Role
You'll be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and maintenance of a comprehensive approach to operational resilience and business continuity. With robust frameworks in place, SNG will be well-prepared to respond to and recover from disruptive incidents, maintaining operational continuity and enhancing organisational resilience.
Collaborating with key stakeholders across the business, you'll develop and integrate resilience strategies, optimise incident management processes and develop a mindset of proactive planning across the business. Responsibilities include:
- Designing and implementing robust incident management and business continuity frameworks, that support operational resilience
- Ensuring operational resilience aligns with SNG's Enterprise Control framework
- Leading the development and execution of incident management processes, ensuring an efficient business response to any disruptions and defining clear roles and responsibilities in these events
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to integrate resilience strategies across SNG's process landscape, ensuring resilience and continuity plans support and enhance the internal control environment
- Developing and delivering training programs and workshops focused on incident management and business continuity, and their role in organisational resilience
- Establishing the means to test and evaluate the effectiveness of operational resilience frameworks
What we're looking for
You should have demonstrable experience in a similar role within incident management and business continuity, ideally within a large or complex organisation. You'll also have:
- Proven experience in developing and implementing operational resilience frameworks
- Experience leading incident management processes, including post incident reviews to identify learnings
- Strong organisational skills and a proven ability to implement solutions, translating frameworks into altered business practices
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to advise and influence where required
- Experience of developing training and facilitating workshops focused on incident management and business continuity
- Familiarity with relevant legal and regulatory requirements in the housing or social services sector would be beneficial
