Senior D365 Engineer

SNG are recruiting for a Senior Dynamics 365 Engineer to join our CIO directorate based in Basingstoke, working hybrid from home and in the office 2 days per week

As a Senior Dynamics 365 Engineer, you'll oversee the design, delivery, and support of existing and future D365 and Power Platform solutions. Working closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, you will ensure the continuous improvement and effectiveness of our Microsoft investment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee D365 product releases, assessing Microsoft roadmap updates and business-driven configuration changes.
• Act as a technical leader, supporting strategic decisions and influencing new service adoption.
• Provide planning estimates for D365 and Power Platform implementations.
• Monitor D365 system health, storage management, and cost optimisation.
• Collaborate with product managers, system engineers, and software integrators to implement continuous product improvements.
• Support resolution of incidents and problems within an ITIL framework.
• Manage user roles, system permissions, and licensing to optimise platform efficiency.
• Participate in technical design authority discussions and contribute to system replacement roadmaps.
• Provide technical support to service desk teams, ensuring timely resolution of issues.

What We're Looking For

• Extensive experience in Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platforms
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure integration tools and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with PowerApps, Power BI, Common Data Services, Azure, and Office 365.
• Proven track record in scaling Agile methodologies and establishing DevOps practices.
• Strong commercial acumen and experience in customer-centric product solution design.
• Excellent relationship-building, influencing, and communication skills.
